The Greatest Play in Baseball

Ok folks, I am not a baseball fan, so don’t let the title fool you.  It is not what you think.  If you want to know how far society has gone down the toilet, then just watch this comparison to something that happened in 1976, the bicentenial year of the United States of America.

You see, that was when the people of the USA understood and remembered what the flag represents.  It doesn’t represent politics, or bad political or military decisions.  It doesn’t represent a party, nor a specific religious philosophy.  It represents freedom earned with blood and tears.  It represents that man has certain God given rights that nobody, even a government, has a right to take away, and that these freedoms are worth defending and dying for.  It represents man is better off and safer when he or she is allowed to live life according to the dictates of their own conscience with moral and civil responsibility to others.  It says that EVERY individual is important, that ALL men are created equal and have equal opportunity to succeed and to fail by their own efforts.

That is what the flag represents.  That is what the Constitution protects.  Anyone that says to the contrary has either never read the Constitution, or has desires for power, period.

We The People

The world, not just the United States, has been positively affected by the US Constitution.  Before that document, society never developed beyond the wheel and cannon.  Look how far mankind has advanced since that document freed the human race.  This is an undeniable fact that cannot be refuted.

It made out a new system of government, that was people managed, not government dictated.  Systems with large government bodies have been on the Earth since man has had governments.  They only repress, no matter what the philosophy, be it monarch or socialist or communal.  They all involve a few dictating rules to the many, and that usually involves loss of freedom.  Loss of freedom is loss of incentive to excel.  The public is never benefited as everyone ends up not giving a damn because extra effort is punished or the reward is given to those that didn’t work for it.
