Who Is SuperSparky?

I have been blogging since 2007. I love to write, when I get the urge, and a blog is a perfect outlet for me. I have blogged on many topics; everything from politics, to religion, to science, to video gaming. I basically write about what I’m concentrating on at the time.

I do not expect everyone to agree with my opinions, but I do expect you to put yourself in my place, if only for a moment just for perspective. I welcome comments both pro and con. What I don’t appreciate are abusive trolls who’s sad, pathetic little lives are only fed by abusive slander and name calling.

I moderate my comments mainly for filtering out spam, but I also remove the trolls. I do not remove comments if you disagree with me, or even hate me. I encourage discussion, but I do have a limit with trolls. Also, if you comment, use your own words. Simply copying and pasting someone else’s blog or news post will promptly get your comment removed. Go run your own blog for that. You may, however, refer to them to “bolster” your position.

I am a freedom loving conservative.  Want to know more?  Read the blog.

I prefer not to reveal who I am, but it isn’t hard to figure it out. I mainly do this to isolate my blog from those I work for and work with. I make them a promise that I will never write about anything there either.

I am, however, a software engineer by trade, a Perl programmer to be specific, but my dream has always been to be behind a radio talk show microphone (still working on that). I love vintage Atari, Timex, and Sinclair computers, and electronics.

In my past I have written BBS software for the Timex/Sinclair 2068, the Atari 800XL, and Atari ST computers. As well as terminal software and specialized printing software for the Atari ST series. I have customized the OS for the TS2068 computer and developed expansion hardware for it.   I know ZiLOG Z80 Assembler, ZiLOG eZ80 Assembler, Sinclair BASIC, Atari 800/XL/XE BASIC, GfA Basic, various other BASIC flavors, JavaScript and all it entails, HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, Ajax, Jquery, MySQL, Perl, and mod_perl programming and mark up languages for computers.

  1. Are you available for Perl consulting work? If so, contact me via email so we can setup a time to talk.

Come on, you know you want to say something.
