TEA Parties: The Left is Lying About Them

I happen to be a TEA Party member.  I am amazed, but not surprised, at the misrepresentation the liberal media tries to paint them as racist old white people.  Members of the TEA Parties understand why, seeing as the so-called Main Stream media has become the propaganda arm of the Progressives/Democrats.  It’s typical Saul Alinski in its tactics.

First of all, a little definition of terms.  The “TEA” in “TEA Party” is an acronym for “Taxed Enough Already”.  The choice of the name of “TEA Party” was to be an example of the earlier Tea Party against the British, but not BE that Tea Party.  It’s an allegory.

It has turned into a nation wide movement all from independent grass roots.  This is something the left cannot relate to as they have become experts at so-called “astro-turfing”, professional community organization and protests.  They haven’t had a real grass roots experience in many decades.  When the TEA Parties arose, they, naturally thought it to be professionally organized and funded.  Yet, they couldn’t find out from where (it isn’t, that’s why).  So they naturally assumed it was a Republican tactic.  It’s not, in fact TEA Partiers are angry at Republicans too.  OK, so they next thought it was a racist movement because the President is black.  This is the narrative they are sticking with.

The fact is, it has nothing to do with race.  It’s all about policy and direction.  The TEA Party does not want Democratic Socialism, which is the direction the President and Congress is taking us, against our will.  The TEA Party platform has always been Less Government and more Liberty, a return to the Constitutional principles of our founding.  Guess what, you have to read the Constitution to understand what they are.  There is nothing in there that is “out-dated” or primitive in it.  They are principles we can just as easily live by today as they tried back then.  The problem is, we have never completely lived up to those principles.

The media chooses to ignore the real message because their narrative is more controversial and supports their progressive agenda.  The truth isn’t important to them.  Want proof?  OK, how many of you saw this press conference?

You didn’t see this, because it is damaging to the left’s “racist” narrative about the TEA Parties.  These people are not the only ethnic group in the movement.  There are thousands of people that represent other races and ethnic backgrounds in the various TEA Party organizations.  Some TEA Party groups were founded and are run by those that are not “White”.

The point here is, it’s not the President’s skin that these people are not pleased with, it’s his policies and actions they dislike.

People ask “well, then how come there were no TEA Parties during the Bush Presidency?”  My answer is, that Bush wasn’t pushing a socialist agenda down our throats and increasing our national debt by four fold, nor amassing personal power at such an alarming rate.  In less than 8 months (back when the TEA Parties started) the current Federal government has amassed powers they were never ever intended to have and are doing this completely contrary to our Constitution, the highest law in the land.  They are getting away with it because of a compliant Congress. The checks and balances have failed.  We essentially have “Rome” burning and everyone robbing the treasury.  How many Presidents before Obama do you know of that took over banks, private companies etc?  ZERO, not even FDR, Obama’s hero, nor Woodrow Wilson, the Progressive hero (and ultra-racist).

The things Obama is doing to this nation goes completely contrary to the US Constitution and our form government and our type of economy.  It is abundantly clear the President is not interested in preserving our founding principles nor preserving our economy.  He intends to collapse the current economy and “Fundamentally Transform” it into a socialist economy.  The type of economy that has shown time and time again to be a failure that never ever works.  Socialism is a Ponzi scheme that only benefits the first generation for a short time while there is wealth to “spread around”.  When that runs out, the whole thing collapses from its own weight.  Just look to Europe and see how their socialist policies have not only failed but breed violence (Greece anyone?).  Heck, just look at union pensions in our own country.  They are unsustainable and all “socialist” in design.

Our nation has not been heading in the direction it was intended for the last 100 or so years.  The TEA Parties want to put it back on track, to where it was strong and free.  We want our nation to finally live up to the words in the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution.  There was racism and slavery in the past, clearly contrary to the intentions of those documents.  The TEA Parties want the literal intentions of those documents for all people in the USA.  They weren’t just written for the White people, they were written for all people; even Martin Luther King Jr. understood that.  That was part of his dream where everyone lived the American dream hand in hand.  His dream is part of the TEA Party dream.  A place where everyone has freedom and liberty without the tyranny of an oppressive and bloated government.

We could care less what the liberal/progressive pundits say on the news.  They are wrong.  They have no honor.  To them the ends justify the means, another Saul Alinsky philosophy.

The American people never asked for Socialism.  They only wanted the existing dishonor and corruption to stop.  Yet they got much worse with Obama’s administration.  These people have no honor and corruption is a means to an end.  You don’t “Fundamentally Transform” something you love, and it’s clear Obama hates the USA and its Constitution.  His own words and actions attest to that.

This “Change” is not the change the people wanted.

Want to know a difference between a TEA Party member and a liberal/progressive?  What if Nancy Pelosi tripped and fell when she was marching through the TEA Party crowd all smug and trying to provoke something that never came?  In all honesty, the people would have stepped forward and helped her back up.  It’s what these people are.  They are honorable Americans, real Americans.  People that help each other.  Yes, they would have even helped Nancy Pelosi if she tripped and fell, despite what she did.

She certainly could never have walked through a group of liberal protesters in the same safety she did through the TEA Party protesters had she done something they didn’t approve of.

These type of people, honorable, people are the type the left doesn’t understand.  The left and progressives hate their country, do whatever it takes to change their country, damn the actions or means they use to do it.  They cannot comprehend or understand honor, morality, honesty, charity, kindness, nor true patriotism or love of country.  This is so foreign to them and their makeup that they cannot believe this is the root of the TEA Party movement.  They think it must be nefarious or funded by some secret billionaire or “evil” corporation.  It’s how the left works, but this TEA Party thing is completely foreign to them that they just simply do not understand it.  To them, it must be about race.  Racism is something they understand as it’s been a tool they have used for many years to smear others to get their way.  They use some sort of wacky logic tree to say it’s racism.  Obama is black, so that must be why they are protesting.  It’s the only thing that makes sense to them.  Yet, they are completely wrong.  Obama could be white as snow and still the protests would happen.  It’s the policies stupid.

Let’s restore the Nation and Restore Honor not fundamentally transform it.
